I don't know why but I didn't like Jesse even though he wasn't mentioned too much. Now that auction was epic and it showed just how much the guys were willing to step up and help Mary when she needed it the most. Patrice didn't surprise me at all when she saw Amp but it was good to know Shannon forgave him so he could stop beating himself up. Amp finally got up enough courage to face his past. Dime seemed like a good chick and once getting to know Amp, not once was she ever judgemental. I was glad Amp threw caution to the wind and focused on saving his money as long as he was doing it the legal way. Ooohhh I loved the new stage name and he definitely had the ladies going wild. Good thing Paul followed his first mind because it sure helped Amp. I can honestly say I was mad at dude for causing Amp to have problems with Mr. Once finding a job after being let down by not only his appearance, but also his record, I was glad not only Mr. I see Brad was jokey but knew not to push Amp too much. I thought for sure Paul would be hard but once he saw the potential Amp possessed, he realized he wasn't like those that normally entered the halfway house. I actually liked the fact that he was so strong will and determined not to go back to prison. Keyes!!! In the book we were introduced to Amp whose bad decision caused him to become a felon. I'm team Keyes so I'll be impatiently awaiting the next installment or movie. It actually, reads like a great script vs a book. I see potential in this storyline.įYI: I could totally see this being turned into a movie. I hope the end is actually the beginning. Also, why didn't Amp try to contact his family? An effort would have been nice. We understand he struggles with the consequences of his actions (no need to repeat), but why wait until the very end to cough up the entire story.
